Canada Soccer and Canadian Soccer Media & Entertainment (CSME) today announced a new partnership with Samsung Canada as the Exclusive & Official TV & Mobile Partner of Canada Soccer.
The soccer enterprise says this will bring Canadian fans “closer to the game through Samsung technology and enhanced viewing and fan experiences”.
Samsung’s TVs, mobile devices and tablets are expected to “help fans across the country watch, follow and celebrate Canada Soccer’s National Teams as excitement builds across the country”.

Reaching the at-home market:
The game of soccer is expanding across broadcast, digital and mobile platforms.
“This partnership with Canada Soccer allows us to deliver immersive viewing experiences that bring the energy and atmosphere of the match into Canadians’ homes,” says Pat Bugos, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Consumer Electronics Division, Samsung Canada.
Samsung technology will integrate across marquee Canada Soccer events and fan environments supporting shared viewing experiences that bring Canadians together to celebrate the game. Fans will also have opportunities to engage through exclusive contests, prizes and VIP experiences, connecting them with Canada Soccer and the National Teams that represent the maple leaf on the global stage.

The at-home market has been reached for years with livestream by One Soccer for Canadian Premier League games.
A big year for soccer:
Ever since it was announced years ago that the FIFA World Cup 2026 games would be coming to Canada, the substrata of the soccer world have been building interest in the sport — including at the community and school level as well as building regional leagues.
The partnership launches at a time of growing momentum for soccer across Canada. Fans across the country continue to rally behind Canada Soccer’s National Teams while engagement with the game expands across broadcast, digital and mobile platforms.
