The World Junior’s Hockey Finals game for Bronze was played in Vancouver this afternoon, Saturday January 5. The 1 pm PT game wrapped up with Russia beating out Switzerland, 5-2.
The Russians made their first goal early in the first period. The Swiss team picked up some energy in the second and third periods.
The game for Gold starts at 4:30 pm today, with Finland and USA battling it out for the top trophy in Vancouver.
This is one of the few years where Russia and Canada are not competing each other in the finals.
