Each year since 2022, the Canada Day event at Starlight Stadium in Langford has expanded with new activities.
Residents and visitors are welcome to the 4th annual Canada Day celebration at Starlight Stadium, 1089 Langford Pkwy, on Tuesday July 1, 2025.
Langford is where festivities happen!
The free family-friendly event from 10 am to 3 pm introduces exciting new zones and activities alongside returning favourites.
New for 2025:
- Quiet Zone & Board Games – Cool off and unwind in a shaded tent hosted by The Outpost Board Game Café, featuring a curated selection of board games and books. Specialty snack will be available for purchase.
- Caribbean Hub – Join the Vancouver Island Caribbean Sports Hub for traditional Caribbean games and activities. The fun will continue on July 5th – 6th with the Caribbean Hub Sports Day at Goudy Field, showcasing soccer, traditional games, and track and field events. This free, all-day event is open to individuals of all ages and skill levels.
- Infusion VR Arcade – Step into virtual reality with Infusion VR Arcade’s virtual gaming experiences.
The day includes live music, a pancake breakfast, food trucks, street hockey, crafts, and performances by local Indigenous artists and more. For details and the full schedule of activities visit CANADA DAY LANGFORD.

WHAT TO EXPECT THIS YEAR:
FOOD
- Pancake Breakfast – by donation to the Langford Legion (10 a.m. – 11 a.m.)
- Food Vendors available all day: Collective Catering Concession Stand, Canaday Time, Flourish BeauTea, The Outpost Board Game Cafe, Los Panos.

CONTEST – Hot Wings
- Location: By the Stageat 1:30pm by: Bucky’s Taphouse
- No pre-sign up required. If you’d like to participate, just show up! The first ten people to show up can participate. Winner is the one who can eat the most wings!
- WIN a Trophy and Gift Certificate!
- *Must be 19+ to participate.

- Magic – experience the magic with local superstar Jason Verners
- Craft Station – Get creative with West Shore Parks and Rec staff and make some crafts!
- Photo Booth – Capture Canada Day with Four Frames Van Photo Booth
- Teen Zone – Challenge your skills with classic video games & pinball machines from Quazar’s Arcade. or explore virtual reality with Infusion VR Arcade’s
- Lawn Games – Enjoy outdoor classics like Spike Ball, Jenga, and Bocce Ball.
- Superheroes of Victoria – This volunteer group dedicated to raising money and awareness for many charitable organizations will be roaming the grounds at Canada Day
