A provincial state memorial service will be held for former premier John Horgan.
John Horgan passed away on November 12, 2024 after a battle with cancer. He was 65 years old.
He said for at least a year before his death that he wanted to be remembered as ‘John from Langford’.
But of course a full-house is expected at The Q Centre, a large arena venue where the memorial will be held (seats from 2,450 to 3,000 people depending on the setup).
John and his wife Ellie attended many lacrosse games together at The Q Centre over the years.
