One vehicle heading west on Sooke Road (Highway 14) in the Ronald Road to Penwood Road level stretch in Langford reportedly crashed into a parked vehicle around 2:30 am on Monday morning, June 3.
The westbound lane was closed until 8:30 am this morning while BC Hydro crews restored power to about 3,290 customers in Colwood, Langford and Metchosin. A brief detour was set up via Latoria Road.
Sooke School District 62 tweeted to thank BC Hydro for getting power back on ahead of the school day.
Sooke Road is a major connector between Langford and Sooke.
