Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the directive from the BC Provincial Health Officer to close all restaurants and coffee shops, the popular Pilgrim Coffee House temporarily closed their doors on March 23.

But now they’re open again as of Saturday March 28, for take-out only.

Co-owners Jan and John Krottner are keeping their family business running Monday through Saturday, from 9 am to 3 pm. Closed Sunday.

“We’re doing lots of cleaning and sanitizing, including the coffee machine,” says Jan. “We’re respecting distance,” she says, with regard to the requirement for physical distancing as mandated by the Provincial Health Officer.

Pilgrim Coffee House is located at 105-1910 Sooke Road and has always been a busy pit stop for people looking for coffee, good food, and a relaxing environment. It just feels like a place where you want to stay a while. But of course during the COVID-19 pandemic for now it’s just take-out.

Customers can buy Pilgrim gift cards for family and friends.
