Pacific FC kicks off their 2026 season this Sunday, April 5 at Starlight Stadium.
That’s Easter Sunday, so there’s an Easter family-fun theme to the day.
Kickoff is at 3 pm, Pacific FC vs Cavalry FC — two of eight teams in the Canadian Premier League.
“We look forward to opening our eighth season at home in front of our incredible fans on Easter Sunday,” said James Merriman, Head Coach, Pacific FC.
“Cavalry FC is a good opponent and this will be a great match for us to start our season,” says Merriman.
New players:
Fans will get their first look at several new faces on the pitch this season including forward Bul Juach, midfielder Taras Gomulka, defenders Diego Konincks and Joshua Belluz, and goalkeeper Eleias Himaras who joined the club ahead the 2026 CPL campaign.
Family activities:
The Easter Bunny will make a special appearance.
Younger fans can enjoy the Family Zone, which will include a balloon artist, face painter, games and inflatables.
Younger fans are invited to take part in an Easter egg hunt throughout the stadium grounds. All fans will receive a package of player cards sponsored by RE/MAX.
Food trucks from Kattia’s Kitchen and Greek on the Street will be on site. Some new stadium foods include stone-baked personal pizzas, a double double hot dog, a ground pork Hawg Sandwich, and a cinnamon donut called Cinna Twists.
Single game tickets are now available for the 2026 season.
Mayor’s comment:
“The start of a new Pacific FC season is always something the community looks forward to,” said Langford Mayor Scott Goodmanson. “We’re pleased to welcome the club back to Starlight Stadium and extend a warm welcome to the new players joining the roster.”
“With 2026 shaping up to be an exciting year for soccer around the world, it’s great to see that energy reflected here in Langford as Pacific FC kicks off the season,” says Mayor Goodmanson. “I encourage everyone to come out to the opening match this Sunday and cheer on the home team.”
