Two years of Order of BC recipients will be officially recognized in a combined ceremony this evening at Government House.

Catching up from the pandemic period, the 2020 and 2021 recipients will be recognized, as well as three previous recipients who were unable to attend their ceremonies in previous years.

British Columbians are invited to watch the hybrid investiture ceremony, which will be streamed live on YouTube. [March 3, 2022 OBC event – 6 pm – YouTube link ]

Lieutenant Governor Janet Austin shares her congratulations to all, noting their contributions to their communities and the province.

The recipients include Dr Bonnie Henry, and from 2020 Dr Mel Krajden, Carole Taylor OC, and Michael Buble.

The Order Of BC is the province’s highest honour. Since its inception in 1989, 475 British Columbians have been appointed to the Order from all regions of the province.
