A BC Newcomers Information Evening will be held in Langford on Wednesday October 29.
All residents, especially those new to Canada, are invited to drop in to the Langford Masonic Hall at 2832 Bryn Maur Road (in downtown Langford), from 5 pm to 7 pm.
Multiple agencies with information booths will provide information on the services available to those residents that are new to Canada and live in the West Shore.
The event is a collaborative effort between the Victoria Immigrant and Refugee Centre Society as part of their BC Newcomer Services Program and the Langford Residents Association (LRAS).
Many new immigrants to BC who arrive in Langford are from international locations, as well as other parts of Canada.
All residents can play a role in attending these type of events in order to keep the discussion and engagement alive.
