The file on missing person Steven Grant has been handed over to Sooke RCMP from West Shore RCMP.

On February 3 the West Shore RCMP published a media release for missing person Steven Grant. Since then, Mr. Grant’s vehicle has been recovered by the Sooke RCMP in their jurisdiction.  

“As such, Sooke RCMP has taken over the missing person’s investigation and any media inquires or tips from the public should be directed to the Sooke RCMP. Cpl. Dawn Gilhen is the Sooke RCMP media contact,” says Cst Nancy Saggar of West Shore RCMP.

The Sooke RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in locating missing person Steven Grant. Steven is a resident of Metchosin and has been missing from his home since January 30, 2021.

Steven Grant is described by police as:

  • Caucasian male
  • 53 years old
  • approximately 5’9″ tall
  • slim build, approximately 160 lbs
  • Blue eyes
  • Brown shoulder length hair
  • Brown/grey full-face beard

Steven Grant is said to currently have longer hair than in seen in the supplied headshot photo.
