A mechanical issue with the sewage system resulted in a delay for the 4 pm sailing from Departure Bay.
The sailing left 1 hour and 22 minutes behind schedule from Departure Bay (Nanaimo) on its route to Horseshoe Bay (Vancouver).
Consequently, BC Ferries says there will also be departure delays for:
- the 6:20 pm sailing departing Horseshoe Bay (Vancouver)
- the 8:30 pm sailing departing Departure Bay (Nanaimo)
- the 10:40 pm sailing departing Horseshoe Bay (Vancouver)
Travellers are advised to check Current Conditions if planning to travel those routes this evening.
