A full arena at the Q Centre on Saturday night September 7 saw the Peterborough Lakers inch out a 12-10 overtime victory against the Victoria Shamrocks. Regulation time had ended 9-9.
That brings the best-of-seven 2019 Mann Cup Canadian Senior ‘A’ lacrosse final series to a 1-1 tie.
The Shamrocks won Game 1 on Friday night with a steady-through-the-night 13-6 win. Player of the Game for Victoria was Tyson Gibson, who got six points in the Shamrock green.
Game 3 will be on Monday September 9 at 7 pm at the Q Centre.
Tickets for Game 5 of the 2019 Mann Cup went on sale this morning Sunday September 8 at 9:00 am. Seats are still available for Game 3 (September 9) & Game 4 (September 10).
