Today September 25 at about 12:50 pm West Shore RCMP attended a call in the 1400-block of Pinehurst Place in Langford.
They were responding to a call saying a man was unresponsive at a construction site there.
Pinehurst Place is in the Bear Mountain community development in Langford.
Police and BC Emergency Health Services (ambulance) attended the scene and applied life-saving measures, the RCMP reported today in a news release.
“Unfortunately the victim — who was a construction site employee in his mid-20s — succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
WorkSafe BC and the BC Coroner’s Service were advised, say RCMP.
Police are continuing their investigation. No further details are available at this time.
