The holiday season is here!
The 2024 Langford Winterfest officially kicks off on Saturday December 7 with the annual Christmas Tree Lightup. The lightup will be at 7:15 pm at Veterans Memorial Park.
The event has become a mainstay of the growing City of Langford to which residents and tourists alike come to take part.
Starting at 5pm, Veterans Memorial Park will host a holiday market, musical performances by Mostly Motown Christmas and Westshore Community Band, cookie decorating, free hot dogs and hot chocolate*.
Santa arrives at 5:15 pm on the Langford Fire Truck and be available for photos and visits until 7 pm. The Langford tree lighting will take place at 7:15 pm.
Around 7:30 pm, the IEOA Truck Parade will pass through Langford with its festively lit and decorated trucks.
Across the street from 3 to 7 pm at The Langford Station Arts & Cultural District there will be activities including crafts, balloon artists, princesses, food trucks, a holiday market, PACE Musical Theatre, Pacific Edge Chorus, Ablaze Choir, local retailers and much more!
Parking does fill up. Everyone is encouraged to walk, use alternative transportation, or park in one of Langford’s free parking lots such as The Langford Station and Claude Road parking lots.
