The City of Langford municipal hall is now closed to the public, it was announced by Mayor Stew Young at a special council meeting held outdoors yesterday evening Thursday March 19.

This extraordinary measure is part of the social distancing that is required of everyone in BC and Canada during the continuing community spread of the COVID-19 virus.

A few key senior and operational staff will continue to work at city hall, perhaps on a rotating basis. Already most of the municipal staff have been working remotely from home, as possible.

Residents and businesses can still make appointments to pick up documents or make a payment. City Hall contact: 250-478-7882 or email to administration@langford.ca
