Janet Austin, lieutenant governor of British Columbia, will celebrate the holiday season at Government House by welcoming eight Grade 3 classes to Government House to decorate trees in the ballroom and her office.
The students will enjoy entertainment by Tickles the Clown and holiday treats.
The Children’s Tree Decorating Party will held on Thursday afternoon, December 5. Tree decorating in the ballroom and the lieutenant governor’s office will include bagpipes and entertainment.
West shore SD62 schools taking part are Colwood Elementary, Crystal View Elementary, and Willway Elementary, together with Doncaster Elementary, Sir James Douglas Elementary, Westmont School, Cloverdale Traditional Elementary, and Lake Hill Elementary.
