Monday morning skating with the Cowichan-Malahat-Langford Member of Parliament is the last of four events of this holiday season hosted by Conservative Jeff Kibble, MP.
Kibble’s Cowichan Holiday Skate on Monday December 22 at the Cowichan Community Centre (at 2687 James St, Duncan) from 10:45–11:45 am includes free skate rental. Everyone is welcome for this on-ice event,
The open-to-community skating event with Kibble is his fourth Christmas season event. Last week he hosted open houses at his constituency offices in both Langford and Duncan, and a skating event in Langford.
The first-time MP attended the City of Langford’s Christmas Lightup on December 6 at Veterans Memorial Park in downtown Langford.
Kibble also showed support for his fellow military veterans by attending at a new food bank for veterans that opened in Langford last week in this holiday season.

Politics in 2026:
Conservative MP Kibble will be back in Ottawa with the country’s MPs for the January 26 start of the House of Commons Winter/Spring 2026 session.
Kibble said at one of his open houses last week that he feels that Conservative party leader Pierre Poilievre will do well in the party’s leadership review at the end of January.

He feels the party will continue to focus on safer communities, restoring affordability and what is described as common-sense, fiscally responsible leadership that puts local families first.
Kibble will continue work on his private members bill intended to protect victim families during the parole hearing process for convicted violent offenders.
Meanwhile, the Cowichan-Malahat-Langford Conservative team reflects back on electing Kibble in 2025 and says a federal election could come as early as spring or fall 2026.
