The southbound on-ramp from Keating Cross Road to Highway 17 (Patricia Bay Highway) will be closed to traffic for one week, beginning this morning Sunday April 12.
That will allow crews to complete construction work, says the Ministry of Transportation and Transit.
The Keating Cross Road flyover will remain open.
However, drivers will not be able to access Highway 17 using the southbound on-ramp during the closure. A full closure of the on-ramp is required to allow crews to work efficiently and safely.
Drivers can access the highway via the detour from Central Saanich Road to Tanner Road, and truck traffic will be detoured to Central Saanich Road along the existing truck route.
The Highway 17 Keating Cross Road Flyover Overpass Project remains on track for completion in spring 2026.
The area is an active construction zone, and drivers are advised to travel with care and obey posted speed limits.
Additional short-term closures of the on-ramp may be required to complete remaining project work. When possible, advance notice will be shared with the public through the project website and DriveBC.
