Conservative MP Jeff Kibble (Cowichan-Malahat-Langford) will be hosting two Christmas season events in the Cowichan Valley area.
His Christmas Open House will be held on Thursday December 18 at his constituency office at 103-255 Ingram Street, Duncan from 4 to 6 pm. Join MP Kibble for some holiday cheer and light refreshments. RSVP required.
Jeff Kibble MP’s Holiday Skate will be held on Monday December 22 at the Cowichan Community Centre, 2687 James Street, Duncan, for one hour from 10:45 to 11:45 am. Free and open to all ages. Skate rental is included. RSVP required.
Seasonal connection:
Holiday season events are held by MPs all around the country in their home constituencies. It’s a way to connect with constituents about local matters and how work done in Ottawa connects back to the home riding.
Large riding:
Kibble’s riding has a particularly geographical footprint, hence two offices and two sets of holiday events so that all constituents have access to meet with their MP.
