The IEOA Truck Parade & Food Drive is a highlight of the holiday season every year, now in their 60th year!
IEOA is the Island Equipment Owners Association which formed in 1964 “to create harmony among those in the heavy equipment, hauling and gravel fields, with an objective of better service at a fair rate”.
Parade route:
Parade trucks are busy getting ready to glow their way through Greater Victoria this Saturday December 7 for the 2024 parade.
The route map shows as 5 pm start at Ogden Point (on Dallas Road in James Bay), heading through Victoria, Saanich, View Royal, Langford and wrapping up around 8 pm in Colwood (at the Commons on Ryder Hesjedal Way).
“Plan to join us along the route on Saturday night to enjoy the decorations and lights glowing on the hard working trucks and wave to the drivers of companies who have put a lot of time and effort into creating the magical scene.”
Food donations:
“Please support these businesses who are collecting food donations,” says the IEOA organization on their website.
