Heljet International has donated one of its medically equipped helicopters to the people of Ukraine.
It will be used to transport victims who have been injured in the war that is ongoing with Russia.

In Richmond (on the BC mainland) on Monday, Helijet International handed over the keys of a fully operational, medical helicopter that will be used for missions of mercy in Ukraine.
The helicopter will be used to airlift individuals in need of urgent medical care and for other humanitarian purposes.
Representatives attending on behalf of three Ukrainian non-governmental support organizations Maple Hope Foundation, the Ukrainian World Congress, and Initiative E+ will officially accept delivery and title Monday of a Sikorsky S-76A medically-equipped helicopter from Helijet’s fleet.
The aircraft was on display at Monday’s event, ahead of being packaged and air-shipped to Ukraine later this month.
Duration of the war:
The war waged by Russia against Ukraine started in 2014 and escalated in 2022. It is still ongoing.
The current US President says he aims to bring about the end of that war as soon as possible, saying this week that Putin has agreed to talking about a resolution.
Territory seized by Russia in 2014 is unlikely to be restored to Ukraine, but likely both sides want active warfare to cease.
