Two major retail outlets will celebrate their grand opening in Colwood this week.

Quality Foods and Cascadia Liquor are both opening stores in the fast-growing Royal Bay neighbourhood as part of The Commons – Grand Opening.

The stores are located at 345 Latoria Boulevard is nestled within the heart of major housing development in Royal Bay, and pretty much across the road from Royal Bay Secondary School.

As development continues there, the area’s customer base will also include a major long-term care and assisted living centre (operated by Island Health) and the new BC Museum Collections and Research Centre (set to open in 2025). Other retail includes Pure Integrative Pharmacy (still to open), Sequoia Coffee (which opened in November 2020), and Megson FitzPatrick Insurance Services (opening June 12, 2023).

Open to the public:

The event is open to the public. It’s happening on Thursday May 25 at 9 am. Plenty of parking. Two ribbon cutting celebrations for both stores will happen at 9 am at 345 Latoria Boulevard.
