Got some spare time this Easter long weekend? Live or work in Langford?

There are three online surveys currently available at Let’s Chat Langford.

It’s a way for people in Langford to have input to strategies for reshaping the livability and growth of the fast-growing community.

Two surveys (waste collection and climate action) close at end of day Tuesday April 8, and the arts and culture survey is open to end of day Sunday April 19.

Langford’s Climate Action Plan Survey

The Climate Action Survey asks about your experiences, priorities, and expectations for the City’s role in climate action. Feedback from residents and businesses will help guide early decisions about the focus, values, and priorities of the City’s Climate Action Plan.

Help Shape the Future of Waste Collection in Langford

langford, survey, waste collection

The City of Langford is exploring a shift to a single, City-contracted service provider for curbside garbage and organics (food and yard waste) collection for single-family homes, duplexes, and small stratas.

The City wants to know what is most important to residents and businesses when it comes to curb-side residential waste collection.

The City looks forward to hearing people’s preferences, including monthly costs, ideal bin sizes, pickup frequency, and any additional services you would like, such as yard waste or large-item pickups.
