Four delayed sailings on the Swartz Bay (Victoria) – Tsawwassen (Vancouver) route today are resulting from a mechancial issue with the gearbox on the 8 am sailing (Vancouver-Victoria).
The mechnical issue was resolved after the 8 am sailing delay (the vessel departed 61 minutes behind schedule).
The 10 am departing Swartz Bay (Victoria), the 12 noon sailing dpearting Tsawwassen (Vancouver), and the 2 pm departing Swartz Bay (Victoria) have ended up with delays as a result.
“We know you have important places to be,” says BC Ferries to their customers, and apologizes for inconveniences.
