At this point in the COVID-19 pandemic, Coast Capital Savings has closed several branches, while others remain open.

From among their larger list of all their affected branches in BC, these branches in the west shore and Greater Victoria area are now “temporarily closed as a precautionary measure during COVID-19”, according to the Coast Capital Savings website:

  • Admirals – 1499 Admirals Rd. (in View Royal)
  • Colwood – 1911 Sooke Rd. (in Colwood)
  • James Bay – 239 Menzies St. (downtown Victoria)
  • Oak Bay – 2067 Cadboro Bay Rd (Oak Bay)
  • Shelbourne – 3750 Shelbourne St. (Saanich)

“We’re reserving the first hour at all open branches for seniors and members with compromised immune systems,” it says on the credit union’s website.

“Coast Capital is tremendously grateful and proud of our teams who, since the beginning of this outbreak, have been working tirelessly to help members in these unprecedented times,” says Coast Capital VP, Communications and Public Affairs, Roanne Weyermars.

“Rest assured that as things continue to evolve, every decision we make will be fueled by our deep care for our people, our members and our communities,” says Weyermars.

The Central Saanich branch is also temporarily closed. The other closed branches — 15 of them — are in the BC Lower Mainland area.
