The first Lotto Max draw of 2026 is tonight, Friday January 2.
Tonight’s draw offers a jackpot of $46 million.
Update: no one won the January 2 draw jackpot, so the next draw (January 6) will have a jackpot of $50+ million.
Tickets may be purchased up to 7:21 pm (Pacific Time). The draw takes place at 7:30 pm Pacific Time / 10:30 pm Eastern Time and winning tickets and prize breakdowns are published after that.
Winning numbers (Jan 2, 2026 draw):
- The January 2, 2026 Lotto Max winning numbers are: 05, 09, 11, 22, 30, 41, 43.
- Bonus: 49
- The Extra numbers for the January 2, 2026 Lotto Max draw are: 13, 60, 66, 82.
Prize breakdown:
- No winner of the $46 million jackpot.
- Two (2) winners in Ontario with 6/7+ numbers, each winning $115,308.20.
- Fifty (5) winners across the country with 6/7 numbers, each winning $4,612.30.
Previous draw:
This follows the Lotto Max mega-jackpot of $80 million that was won by someone in Ontario in the December 31, 2025 draw.
The jackpot had also been $80 million for the December 26 Lotto Max draw, but there was no winner.
About Lotto Max:
Lotto Max tickets are $5 per play. There are three rows of seven numbers on each ticket.
The ticket price will go up to $6 per play starting in April 2026.
Starting April 14, 2026 the Lotto Max jackpot cap will increase from $80 million to $90 million, which BCLC says is a record-breaking jackpot for a Canadian lottery.
Lotto Max will be introducing a new feature offering multiple $100,000 prizes with every draw, based on the jackpot amount. For example, when the jackpot is $10 million, 10 additional $100,000 prizes will be drawn, and so on, up to 90 additional $100,000 prizes when the jackpot hits $90 million.
