Environment Canada is enhancing their interactive weather map.
Starting this spring, Environment Canada will display radar imagery and alert information simultaneously, meaning it will be even easier to access important weather information.
Currently radar is posted separately as are any public alerts.
Currently the Weather Map for across Canada shows basic temperature information.
Households, communities and governments use weather information as part of emergency preparedness.
The Weather Network already does a tremendous job covering weather in detail.
