The District of Sooke is currently accepting applications for what is calls “a crucial role“.

Reporting to the CAO, the Director provides strategic leadership, expert guidance, and operational support across engineering, parks and environmental services, and wastewater services.
This position oversees the planning, design, and delivery of construction activities, as well as the maintenance and operation of municipal infrastructure and related programs.
Sooke is a growing community with some unique challenges not the least of which is being part of Greater Victoria but in some ways limited by access with one-road-in-and-out on Highway 14.
