Power outages that started last night in conditions of wind and rain continue into this morning on Hornby Island and the Port Alice/Port Hardy area.
As of 7:41 am this morning, there are about 307 BC Hydro customers without power in the Courtenay area while 730 are without power in Port Alice and Port Hardy.
Restoration crews are either assigned or arriving on site for all outage locations this morning.
Last night there were 2,282 BC Hydro customers without power for four evening hours in the Qualicum Beach area.
