A single vehicle collision has happened on Highway 1 near the Millstream overpass in Langford.
West Shore RCMP reported out the incident at 3:37 pm on X and at 3:41 pm in a news release to media.

“A single vehicle appears to have crashed into a light standard near this location,” says Cpl Nancy Saggar, Media Relations Officer, West Shore RMCP.
Weather is clear:
The weather is clear at the moment (roads not wet), with partly cloudy skies. The bright sun lower in the sky at this time of day in late autumn can sometimes be a challenge for northbound traffic.

“Further details on cause of collision or injured parties is not available at this moment as emergency crews are still at the scene,” she said in her 3:41 pm release.
“Expect traffic delays in this area. We thank you for your patience as emergency crews attend the scene,” said Saggar.

At 4:01 pm, the City of Langford Engineering Dept has issued a notice about the Millstream Road exit from Highway 1 having a northbound lane closure.
