Camosun College has reaffirmed its standing as a premier Canadian applied research institution, securing a spot among the top 50 research colleges in 2025, as announced by the college on December 4.
This year, Camosun was ranked 43rd overall among more than 200 colleges. See: Canada’s Top 50 Research Colleges and the complete results, at Research Infosource.
Among similar medium-sized colleges Camosun ranked second for completed research projects, fifth for research growth and intensity, and sixth for research partnerships with regional businesses and industries.
Applied research arm:
This award from Research Infosource reaffirms Camosun Innovates – the applied research arm of the college and home to B.C.’s first Technology Access Centre (TAC) – as a Canadian leader in advanced manufacturing design, development, fabrication, innovation, and production.
For more than 15 years, Camosun Innovates has supported companies as they address challenging research questions, develop new product designs, and test imaginative ideas, while avoiding direct competition with local businesses and guaranteeing that partners retain all of their intellectual property.
