Five individuals and one team have been recognized as Transit SuperStars for going above and beyond in service to their communities, coworkers and a commitment to excellence.

“The latest Transit SuperStars exemplify what it means to care deeply about their customers, coworkers, and communities,” said Jim Ross, Vice President of Operations and Chief Operating Officer, BC Transit.

“They illustrate that transit systems require commitment in all departments to provide safe and reliable service for our customers, and BC Transit is grateful for their continued effort and dedication,” said Ross in a news release today.

Every year, BC Transit recognizes excellence and celebrates the Transit SuperStars making a positive difference in transit systems across the province. Each winner meets one or more of our core values: Adapt and Thrive, Community Minded, Safety First and Team Spirit.

The Transit SuperStar winners are employees working for BC Transit’s operating and or local government partners. They were recently recognized and presented with plaques at an awards dinner during BC Transit’s annual workshop in Victoria.
