Upon the wrap-up of the short December session of the BC Legislature on Thursday (the session ran December 7 to 17), BC Green Leader Sonia Furstenau said her party’s work to hold the NDP government accountable will continue.

“We are clearly settling into our new role as a caucus,” wrote Furstenau to her party’s mailing list. “Although this session was a good indication of what’s to come, we are just getting started,” she said.

The party leader (who is the MLA for Cowichan Valley) and Green MLA, Adam Olsen, extend wishes for a peaceful, joyful, relaxing holiday week and “find ways to safely connect with friends and family during this time”.

The BC Greens office is now closed for the holidays, reopening on Monday January 4, 2021.
