The 7 am and 9 am BC Ferries Vancouver-Victoria sailings were cancelled this morning, Sunday March 1, due to mechanical difficulty with the vessel’s public address and alarm systems, says BC Ferries.
That was for the 7 am sailing departing Tsawwassen (Vancouver) and the 9 am sailing departing Swartz Bay (Victoria).
At 10:45 am, BC Ferries advised that the 11 am sailing from Tsawwassen would proceed.
Other sailings on that route were unaffected, the sea-highway provider stated.
Message from BC Ferries:
“We know you have important places to be. We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience you may experience,” says BC Ferries.
