Your 28-day voter’s guide for BC Election 2024
Elections BC offers six days for advance voting in the 2024 BC provincial election, starting today:
- Thursday October 10
- Friday October 11
- Saturday October 12
- Sunday October 13
- Tuesday October 15
- Wednesday October 16
To find the location of advance voting in your electoral area, visit the Elections BC 2024 Provincial Election information page.
Note that Monday October 14 is Thanksgiving Day. All voting stations will be closed.
Easy ballots:
Large ballots are easy to read and to use.
After marking your ballot with a marker, you carry your ballot from the voting booth over to a scanner.
Completed ballots are placed by the voter into a scanner for automatic tally.
Elections BC personnel are available at every step of the way, to make everything easy and understandable.
After voting you can pause at the selfie station to record the moment: “I voted!”
Electronic voting:
The new scanner-insert voting process was piloted during the June 2023 by-election in Langfurd-Juan de Fuca. It was also the sort of technology used by many municipalities in the October 2022 local municipal elections.
Vote at any EDO now through October 19:
Voting can also be done at any Electoral District Office (EDO) or by postal mail.
Elections BC has electoral offices in every electoral district (riding) in the province.
