Music in the Park happens every Sunday at Veterans Memorial Park in Langford during July and August. Music in the Park features a mix of local musical talent and it’s popular!
That includes this Sunday August 3 on BC Day long weekend, featuring The Soul Shakers — one of the most popular bands on Vancouver Island for their musicianship, harmonies and high-energy performances including classic Motown, soul, R&B, blues, pop and original music
It’s an afternoon event from 2 to 4 pm.
The park centrally located in the heart of Langford at the corner of Goldstream Avenue and Veteran’s Memorial Parkway.
Free to attend, it’s a community event.
“Bring fold-out chairs and dancing shoes” say organizers, for an afternoon of entertainment.
The park also includes a playground and splash park.

The Soul Shakers will also be performing this evening August 2 at Herm Williams Park in Colwood (starting 5:30 pm), and will be performing on Thursday August 21 at Willows Beach in Oak Bay (starting 6 pm).
