Langford is getting another Tim Hortons restaurant. It will open just weeks from now, on March 19. Construction has been underway since last fall.

This one will be on Langford Parkway at the West Shore Parkway roundabout, in the Westhills area. That’s near the Lakepoint One building (where the BC Government will be opening a west shore office by year-end) and within easy reach of the YM-YWCA, Greater Victoria Public Library (Heritage Branch), and Westhills Stadium. As well, two new SD62 schools will be open in the area (on Constellation Avenue) in September 2022.

Interviews for staff positions at the newest Tim Hortons will be held on Friday February 21 and Saturday February 22 at the nearby Tim Hortons franchise in the Westshore Town Centre at 840-2945 Jacklin Road.

Job positions have been posted on Indeed.com, says the Jacklin Road store manager. They will be hiring on the spot until the new store opens, the manager says.

The newest Tim Hortons franchise outlet on Langford Parkway is owned by Kelly Sim, who also owns the Westshore Town Centre outlet.

There are other Tim Hortons outlets in the area, including just off West Shore Parkway on Amy Road (near Highway 1), in the Langford downtown core at 845 Goldstream Avenue, and in the busy Millstream commercial area at 739 McCallum Rd.

Tim Hortons is coming out this week with a new digital version of their Roll Up the Rim to win, after 35 years of being an in-the-moment experience with cup in hand. As part of that promotion March 11 to April 7 they will be giving away about two million reusable cups, in an effort to take part in the movement to reduce single-use disposable cups.
