On Saturday May 18, Alistair MacGregor, MP will be joined by NDP Party Leader Jagmeet Singh in Duncan for a visit to the Duncan Farmers Market.
There their goal is to appreciate locally grown and produced foods and artisan products and to meet with vendors and constituents.
The Duncan Farmers Market is open year-round on Saturdays. Located in the heart of the Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island. With over 150 vendors it’s one of the largest markets of its kind in British Columbia. All products are locally grown and produced.
The market offers fresh foods and artisan wares, including: organic fruits and vegetables; local honey, cheese, and eggs; sustainably harvested seafood; meat from grass-fed and ethically-raised animals; homemade jams, jellies, chutneys, and sauces; artisan breads, pies, pastries, and cookies; locally grown and produced wines and spirits; gourmet treats for pets; handcrafted clothing, furnishings, jewelry, and more.
