A family activity night will be held at SEAPARC Leisure Complex in Sooke on Tuesday evening, November 22, from 6 to 8 pm.
The fun will include tree-decorating ‘Sooke Festival of Trees’ in support of BC Children’s Hospital. Coordination also shared by the Sooke Harbourside Lions.
BC Children’s Hospital is seeing about 20 percent more cases at their Emergency Department (compared to last year at this time), as the respiratory season picks up steam with more cases of RSV, COVID and influenza.
Lots of activities:
There will be photos with Santa, decorating night for the Sooke Festival of Trees, Santa’s gift shop (items for all ages / $2 donation), hot dogs and hot chocolate by cash donation to Sooke Harbourside Lions, and paint your own wood Christmas ornament (by cash donation).
Public skating from 7 pm to 8:15 pm (regular admission rates), and everyone welcome swim 7 to 9 pm ($2 admission).
