LOCAL TRAFFIC ADVISORY:

On Provincial Highway 14 (Sooke Road) from Otter Point Road to Atherley Close Road there will be some paving and associated construction on two days upcoming: Saturday November 21 and Monday November 23.

Paving and construction work will be done by the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure (MOTI) during 9 am to 3 pm on both days.

DriveBC posts this as part of a project stretching over a total of 10.2 km of the highway that runs through the center of Sooke.

Traffic will be single-lane alternating through that retail/commercial area of Sooke near the main Canada Post office and various restaurants, offices and stores.

MOTI says to expect delays of 15 to 20 minutes. “Business access will remain open with some restrictions due to paving,” says MOTI in a release today.
