Today there has been traffic congestion at the Millstream Road interchange as consumers head to Costco and other stores in that major commercial shopping area of Langford.

People are out shopping to stock up on food and household supplies as awareness of the COVID-19 pandemic heightens on Vancouver Island.

Today City of Langford Engineering says that due to heavy vehicle traffic approaching Costco at the Millstream overpass, motorists are urged to use Exit 16 Leigh Road interchange and travel along McCallum Road, following the signage to the upper driveway of Costco.

Anyone who returns from travel outside Canada must self-isolate for 14 days, according to the BC Provincial Health Officer yesterday.
