BC Transit is implementing their annual winter seasonal service change which in the Greater Victoria area will increase service on a number of routes after seasonal reductions around the holiday season in December.
Other changes as announced January 6, 2020 include:
- Schedule changes to select routes in order to provide for dynamic scheduling, match demand, and improve on-time performance. Affected routes include:
- 24 Cedar Hill/Admirals Walk, 32 Cordova Bay/Royal Oak Exchange, route 6 Royal Oak Exchange/Downtown, 15 Esquimalt/Uvic, 21 Interurban/Downtown, 27 Gordon Head/Downtown, 28 Majestic/Downtown, 30 Royal Oak Exchange/Downtown, 31 Royal Oak Exchange/Downtown.
- Improved service on the route 50 Langford/Downtown by operating every 15 minutes until 8:30 p.m. on Saturday and 7:30 p.m. on Sundays.
- Additional trip added to the route 22 Vic General/Hillside Centre leaving the Victoria General Hospital at 7:21 a.m.
