~ West Shore Voice News
There were trick-or-treaters all around Langford tonight for Halloween. The weather was colder than usual for the end of October, but there was no rain.
There was the usual range of costumes, always fun and creative by trick or treaters from the very young (with their parents) to teens.
There were Halloween events at the three fire halls — the main hall at 2625 Peatt Road, fire hall #2 at 3205 Happy Valley Road (good parking), and fire hall #3 at 2872 Sooke Lake Road — with hot dogs, candy, hot chocolate, and entertainment courtesy of Langford Fire Rescue between 5:30 and 8:30 pm.
Later on there were fireworks in the Langford night sky.
