Randall Garrison will be hosting former MP Nathan Cullen in Sooke on Tuesday October 8. Cullen is supporting Garrison’s NDP campaign for re-election to a third term in Esquimalt-Saanich-Sooke.
The get-together will be at 3:30 pm at The Stick in the Mud Coffee House, 6715 Eustace Road, Sooke.
As the former MP for Skeena-Bulkley Valley, Cullen has been a firm advocate for the environment, electoral reform and indigenous reconciliation.
The two MPs have worked together on many issues in Parliament. Most recently they worked across party lines in the House of Commons to end the captivity of whales and dolphins in Canada… something that drew considerable applause for Garrison at an All Candidates meeting about environmental issues at Metchosin Community Hall last week.
