Sidewalk construction on Goldstream Avenue in central Langford this summer will result in some traffic delays between Monday July 13 and Monday August 31.
Active sidewalk construction work will be done from 7 am to 7 pm on Goldstream Avenue between Leigh Road and Carlow Road.
During those times, traffic will be reduced to single lane alternating traffic to accommodate construction works in the road right of way.
Activity in the area is largely residential and small commercial/industrial, as well as a community centre on Carlow Road. Leigh Road leads to Langford Parkway and the Starlight Stadium.
Traffic control personnel will be on-site directing vehicle and pedestrian traffic during workings hours.
Please follow signage and directions while works are active, says City of Langford Engineering. Motorists are advised that delays may be expected.
