Due a BC Ferries vessel’s delayed return to service following refit, supplementary sailings on the Tsawwassen (Vancouver) – Duke Point (Nanaimo) route have been cancelled on Thursday April 2 and Friday April 3.

Cancelled Sailings, April 2:

  • 9:00 am departing Duke Point
  • 11:30 am departing Tsawwassen
  • 2:00 pm departing Duke Point
  • 4:30 pm departing Tsawwassen

Cancelled Sailings, April 3:

  • 9:00 am departing Duke Point
  • 11:30 am departing Tsawwassen

All other sailings on this route are expected to operate as scheduled.

Customers with a booking on affected sailings will be contacted by our Customer Service Centre who will let you know if we can fit you on an alternate sailing, or if your booking must be cancelled.

If your booking is cancelled, fees and/or fares will be refunded, says BC Ferries. Reserved customers who are impacted by this cancelled sailing can find information about our compensation policy here. Receipts must be provided for compensation consideration.

Alternate route from Departure Bay:

Alternate service is available via the BC Ferries Horseshoe Bay (Vancouver) – Departure Bay (Nanaimo) route.

Due to the ongoing Horseshoe Bay Essential Infrastructure Program, all vehicle travel departing Horseshoe Bay must be booked and paid in advance, up to 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure. Click here to view the schedule for this route.
