The 2025 Sooke Santa Parade is set to roll on Sunday December 7.
Event time: 4 pm to 7 pm.
This year’s parade route is the same as last year — along Throup Road to Church Road to Wadams Way.
The parade starts at 5pm from Journey Middle School, travels along Throup Road to Church Road to Wadams Way, where it will pass by the Sooke Library — the hub for family activities.
Family activities at the Sooke Library at 6671 Wadams Way:
- Serving hot chocolate and hot dogs, both before and after the parade.
- Photos with Santa until 4:30pm, when Santa goes to join the parade.
- Kids Christmas Crafting Station
Santa Parade activities are provided by Sooke Lions Club, Sooke Harbourside Lions Club and EMCS (high school) Leadership Class.

Breakfast with Santa will be held in Sooke on Saturday December 6. It’s a free event for kids and families at the Sooke Legion, Eustace Road, Sooke. Starts at 9 am.
