The City of Langford is in the final stages of creating two new plans to shape the future of transportation in Langford and is requesting your feedback. These plans include the Transportation Master Plan (TMP), and the Active Transportation Plan (ATP).

Both plans are identified as specific objectives in the 2023-2027 Council Strategic Plan.

Public input is encouraged.

Phase 1:

During the first round of engagement the community expressed a strong desire for increased walkability, accessibility, and connectivity. The community emphasized the need to address traffic congestion and provide more mobility options.

Phase 2:

Two plans in Phase 2 build on the community engagement work that was completed as part of the City’s Official Community Plan refresh for 100,000 people.

Technical work done:

Since the city last heard from the community, the project team has completed the technical work and has been developing the key recommendations.

Public input at this point in time will help the City confirm the recommendations and priorities that are presented in the plans.

About the Survey

The Transportation & Active Transportation Survey should take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete.

There are 18 questions divided into four sections. All questions are optional.

The survey is now open online to 11:59 pm on Friday November 21, 2025 (previously it was to close on November 18).
