Highway 99 will be closed in Whistler on Wednesday November 12 for municipal slope work, says the Ministry of Transportation and Transit in a news release today.
Drivers are advised that Highway 99 will be briefly closed between Alta Lake Road and Taylor Way to allow for municipal rock-stabilization work on a roadside slope.
The November 12 closure will be approximately 30 minutes in duration, beginning at 11 am.
Highway 99 traffic can detour via Alta Lake Road, Rainbow Drive and Alpine Way.
Drivers are asked to obey the direction of traffic-control personnel. Minor delays can be expected.
