The usual wide array of Netflix content is frequently updated.
A few days ago they announced a remake of the Frankenstein tale, releasing it a few days after Halloween.
This weekend the streaming service announced some new things coming soon (Nov 8 to 29), ranging in tone from sombre to fun.
- The Big C – A teacher estranged from her husband is diagnosed with cancer.
- Marines – Documentary about the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit conducting high stakes combat exercises in the Pacific.
- Absentia – FBI agent escapes a serial killer’s clutches to find her family, years after her presumed death.
- Future Man – An aimless janitor beats an unbeatable video game and its two heroes recruit him to travel through time to help them save the world.
- The Beast in Me – A famous author is pulled into a twisted mind game with a rich, powerful new neighbour.
Some US history:
And a TV limited series (four episodes) called Death by Lightning has been added to Netflix, about the story of James Garfield who rose from obscurity to become the 20th President of the United States in 1881 for less than a year (shot and killed).
